Our Mission

We are joining a church planting team called Connect NYC, founded by Ron and Susan Taylor. The team currently consists of seven individuals working together to plant five churches in each of the five boroughs of NYC. The mission of Connect NYC is to connect people to God, connect people to people, and connect people to the mission. 

Connect NYC seeks to connect people to God through discipleship. Discipleship happens in one-on-one sessions, small groups, and churches. One of our primary roles on the Connect NYC team during our first year will be establishing small groups and a children’s ministry  at the Connect Rego Park church plant. We will also connect people to God there by putting together a worship team and training church members to lead music during church services.

Connect NYC seeks to connect people to people by building relationships. Every summer, the team organizes day camps and VBS at the various church plants. Through these, we are able to reach new families. The team also participates in park outreach, taking ordinary moments to reach people for Christ however the Holy Spirit leads. 

Connect NYC is funded by the generous support of Christians all across America. Without the support of other believers, Connect NYC would not be able to reach the lost people of NYC. Connect NYC is a hub to help church planters in New York, like our family, with both resources and training. Finally, Connect NYC connects people to the mission by hosting summer missions groups, introducing them to the cultures represented within New York and the need to spread the gospel.
